Plan Your Visit!

Opening Hours

We are typically open on select days/times in line with the Erie Canal season from May to October.

*Please refer to the opening hours at the bottom of the page for the most up to date information.

If you wish to visit outside of these hours, please call (585) 352-0942 and leave a message, or email: info@spencerportmuseum.org

Passport To Your National Parks®

Visitors to the Spencerport Depot & Canal Museum, one of the selected cultural heritage sites on the Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor, can now record their experience with a special stamp similar to those stamped in a traveler’s national passport.

The free stamps are a perk of the Passport To Your National Parks® program, which enables visitors to collect stamps in a spiral-bound National Park Service Passport at national parks and NPS affiliated areas nationwide as a memento of their visit.

Please stop in at the Depot to have one of our volunteers stamp your passport book. The stamp lists the site and date of visit for the holder.

National Parks Passports are available for sale at the Spencerport Depot & Canal Museum for $9.95.

Visitor Information Center

We provide a variety of brochures and information about activities you can do in and around the Greater Rochester Area.

If you wish to bring a group outside of opening hours, we ask for 2 weeks notice.

To make a booking, please contact us on (585) 352-0942 or via email: info@spencerportmuseum.org
